Ty and Sherry were housemates of Tallulah and VerDarLuz, sharing a large, sumptuous communal household. They were intrigued by my process as I set up Tallulah’s ceremonial room for the photo shoot, and even more intrigued immediately afterwards when Tallulah and VerDarLuz described enthusiastially what the experience of being photographed in their sexuality had been like.
About a year ago, Cupido published a portfolio of my photography of Tallulah and VerDarLuz, titled “Spiritual Sexuality”. As I explained then, that photo shoot gave me an opportunity to meet a whole community of people who were encouraging each other to explore sex in its broadest sense, in their case including a decidedly spiritual dimension. As the photographs of Tallulah and VerDarLuz demonstrated, the mix of sex and spirituality can be quite beautiful and powerful.
