Photographing Amy and Max was a delight. Their sexual energy was magnetic and they were both totally at ease in front of the camera.
I was first introduced to Max in 2004 by his partner, Amy, who asked if I would photograph the two of them being sexual together. Amy and Max were both well-known figures in Seattle’s vibrant community of sex explorers, a community that was responsible for the growingly popular Seattle Erotic Art Festival, and Seattle’s venue for sex education and BDSM-oriented play parties affectionately known as The Wet Spot.
